to benefit The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp!

This year was Folly Farm LLC's

16th Annual Folly Farm Classic Horseshow!
October 4 and 5, 2008

Again, this year, all proceeds went directly to The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp* to help support  their amazing programs.

...Admission was $5, and children under 12 were free...

COMPETITION:    From 8am to Dusk.
The Classic Horse Show showcases the riders and horses that garner the highest point totals in their divisions for the Folly Farm Shows throughout this Spring and Summer.  This makes for a unique and exciting opportunity for spectators and fellow riders to see the best-of-the-best competing in one place.  Points totals will be posted after each Folly show.

FUN AND GAMES:   From 11am to 4pm.    In addition to the great competition, there were fun and interesting activities for all ages. These included:

Teacup and Silent Auctions,
Hayrides,
Pony Rides,
Sand Art,
Pumpkin Painting,
 and Scarecrow Making Workshops

This year we brought back, by popular demand...

The Dog Costume Class!

Proceeds from the Dog Costume Class will benefit THE CONNECTICUT HUMANE SOCIETY. Click on the link, above, to see the flyer and see the details!

SPONSORS:     Finally, the generosity of organizations, families, and individuals is essential to the ultimate success of this event.  Sponsors helped to turn a wonderful event into great opportunities for children who deserve everything we can give them and more.

*"The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, in collaboration with its associated camps in the United States and abroad, provides children with cancer and other serious illnesses and conditions a camping experience of the highest quality, while extending year-round support to their families and health care providers."
